I’m so bad at these things. “Who wants to hear me talk about myself!” *crickets* :/

Anyway, I’m Leesa *waves* and this here’s my website. Blog, gallery (when I get around to it), notebook, and just general commentary on random junk.

I’m a 29-year-old Taurus living in Atlanta, GA, divorced (as of 2005), and recently (as of this writing) single, and dating someone new(-ish — long story). I was in the Marines for 5 years, where I learned to speak Russian and Serbian & Croatian. I might be able to stammer a few sentences kindergarden-style at this point. I work at a small local printer, and occasionally chronicle my adventures dealing with customers, and jobs that come through my machines (and sometimes the machines themselves — they’re an unruly bunch).

I’ve been online in some shape or form since I was 14, though I’m not (or at least don’t think I am) nearly as addicted as I used to be. I’ve played tabletop RPG’s since high school, and enjoy the occasional console game, though I enjoy watching other people play just as much, if the story/mechanics are interesting. I’ve been drawing and writing since I was a kid. Unfortunately my muse is a fickle thing and has been UA for a while now, only calling occasionally to let me know I haven’t been completely abandoned.

I’ve considered myself a pagan since I was about 13 or 14, and follow homegrown elementalist beliefs. I’ve dabbled with Wicca and witchcraft a bit over the years, but ultimately found the didn’t fit. I love learning about different religions — yes, including the various forms of Christianity — and philosophical beliefs. I believe things only have the power that you give them, including gods. I believe in reincarnation as a sort of recycling of spiritual energy. I do think that there’s intelligent life out there somewhere (“The universe is a pretty big place. It’s bigger than anything anyone has ever dreamed of before. So if it’s just us… seems like an awful waste of space.” –Ellie Arroway, Contact), though I remain skeptical of claims that they’ve actually made the trek (ha!) to reach us.
