Okay, well maybe not you. But Felicia Day, District 9, and Sherlock Holmes (among others) apparently made a good impression. :)
What do you get when you mix Kelly Clarkson, Pink, Ozzy Osbourne, & Daft Punk. This awesome mashup by Dan Mei and Marc Johnce (Marc’s WP.com blog):
Good stuff!
Before I forget or get sidetracked (for the umpteen millionth time -.-), my copy of Wind Tunnel Dreams by Shira Lipkin arrived on Monday. Shiny! I’ve started thumbing through it a bit. I think this is going to be one of those collections I open at random and read a story or two per sitting. I love books like this! Peter S. Beagle’s Immortal Unicorn duology is another great collection. (The link goes to the second volume in the set. Apparently there’s not an Amazon-direct entry for the first one. :/)
“Someday, we’ll tell our grandchildren how we had to drive around town looking for a coffee shop when we needed to get online, and they’ll laugh their heads off. Every building in America has running water, electricity and ventilation; what’s the holdup on universal wireless Internet?”
Ugh, I really don’t wanna have to, but I need to take some time and dig through all my old Lj entries. It’d be really nice to have stuff like dream entries, writing notes and junk like that all archived here where it’s super easy to reference :/
Would your local authorities be so forthcoming?

I wonder how many weird looks I would get if I actually talked the way I think. Or if anyone did, for that matter (not that some people don’t). Like when I walk outside and think “Wow, it’s really blustery today. Someone’s in a bad mood!” (referring to the wind — and come to think of it, I tend to anthropomorphize things a lot in my head :\), but when actually commenting on it aloud, it comes out more along the lines of “Wow, it’s windy…!”. >.>
