// Domain/Hosting

Tabard’s in! was originally registered on February 4th, 2004 when I bought an account on Powweb.com. I transferred the domain name to Godaddy.com in 2007, and as of March 2008, the website and domain are both hosted on 1&1. Tabardsin.com was the first domain name I ever owned, and though I’ve registered a few others since 2004, this always seems to be the one I come back to. The website has gone through numerous incarnations, and seen varied periods of activity and inactivity.

// Layout/Graphics

The theme used here was inspired by a combination of an old theme from Jenn.nu, and my current LiveJournal layout. I code mostly by hand using good ol’ notepad and lots of trial and error, occasionally cobbling bits and pieces together from themes I like. Unfortunately, I haven’t kept any screencaps or thumbnails of old layouts to show the web-world, but I don’t think they were all that interesting, anyway :) I created the graphics used with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop from the CS3 suite.

Internet Explorer Users: I don’t use MSIE — haven’t for a few years at this point. So generally when I’m putting together a new layout for this place, and since a good portion of my content is shared via various social networks, it’s generally not my first priority to be sure everything’s cross-browser compliant. I haven’t forgotten it. It just might take a bit to get around to it :p

// Art/Photography

Any art (digital or traditional) or photography included in Tabard’s in! are my own works, unless I specifically note otherwise. Most often, I work in standard #2 pencil, or Photoshop or Illustrator for digital art.
